Peony in the spotlight

Peony in the spotlight

No flower illustrates the bloom power of May as fittingly as a peony. So she is in the spotlight and becomes the flower of the month. The buds are spheres of compacted energy that, when ready, open in no time and smell wonderful.

The single peonies then show a fairytale-like heart, the double ones produce a cheerful, full, messy ball of soft leaves. They can have a diameter of 15-18 cm and are mainly offered in white, different colours of pink and burgundy. Blooming in May and June, they are a romantic foretaste of summer.

Peonies come from China and came to Europe around 1785. They belong to their own family (Paeonia) with only one genus: the peony, which, despite the name, has nothing to do with roses. A unique product that will be the star all through May. Find our beautiful peonies in our offer, which will grow over the weeks.
